Overview
Purpose explains the work a scene is doing: setup, reveal, payoff, relationship movement, action, transition, character development or another story function.
Outcome records what is different by the end. The change can be external, emotional, informational or relational. If you cannot name the outcome, the scene may need sharper story movement.
